Steinberg SKI Remote

Cubasis LE is the compact version of Steinberg’s mobile multitouch sequencer, providing the same look and feel of its bigger brother Cubasis. Please note: Project export to Cubase requires Cubase Pro 10/Pro 10.5, Cubase Artist 10/10.5, Cubase LE/AI/Elements 10 or higher.

Steinberg SKI Remote is an extension which enables remote functionality. Among others, it is required by Cubase iC/Cubase iC Pro (iOS apps).

Please note:

• Steinberg SKI Remote must be installed before using Cubase iC/Cubase iC Pro.
• Apple Bonjour has to be installed and active as well in order to be able to select Steinberg SKI Remote in Cubase. Bonjour is included in Mac OS/macOS. On Windows, it is being installed along with iTunes by Apple. A separate Windows installer is available here.
• Please consider the compatibility of Cubase, Cubase iC/iCPro and the operating system.

After installing a matching Steinberg SKI Remote extension, please follow these steps:

• Launch your Cubase version.
• Go to the 'Devices' menu and select 'Device Setup…'. This will bring up the 'Device Setup' window.
• In the Device Setup window, click on '+' to add a new device.
• Select 'Steinberg SKI Remote' from the pop-up to add Steinberg SKI Remote to the list of remote devices. Cubase iC/Cubase iC Pro should now be able to communicate with Cubase.
